The basic strategy was
developed through intensive computer simulations which resulted
in a complete combinatorial analysis. Through the computer
calculated thousands of possible situations in each hand of
blackjack, establishing statistically the best decision for the
player. Before presenting the tables where are the results of
the combinations and the respective games recommended for each
situation, we'll explain the logic of the basic strategy of
blackjack:
First, as a player, you should remember to follow three basic
steps in each hand:
- Paying attention to the cards in your hand
- Meet the dealer's visible card
- Determine the probability that you and the dealer to bust.
Although the dealer should be governed only by the rules of the
house has the advantage because after the players play, then
even if both were to fail, which would lose the player. Taking
them to specific numbers, the margin of the casino on the
players in the game of blackjack is 5.5%. With this in mind,
several mathematicians and great blackjack players have tried
for a long time to reduce the house edge at blackjack and favor
the player. The basic strategy is the result of one such effort.
The premise of which party's basic strategy is that the value of
the cards that have a greater presence in the deck is 10:
16-card deck, 52 in total, worth 10 in the game of blackjack.
Therefore, it is desirable for the player, assuming that the
dealer's hole card is a 10, though often not. Thus, based on the
visible card of the same, the player can calculate the total
scores that could come to have the dealer.
If the dealer's visible card is a two, a three, four, five or
six are likely to fail. For example if the dealer's up card was
a 5 or 6, and his hole card a 10, his total (15 or 16) would be
high enough to take another card to the final score of his hand
more than 21 . In this case:
- If the score of your hand is between 12 and 17: be planted. Do
not try to get to 21 because you might break and not worth being
you could win anyway, given the high probability of bankruptcy
that is the dealer.
- However there are some exceptions to this rule. When your hand
is worth 12 points and the dealer's card is 2 or 3 you should
take another card. And if you are 17 soft spots formed by an ace
and a 6, you can take the chance to take another card since the
total of your hand can be counted as 7 or 17. |
